Winslet In 'Vanity Fair'
Kate Winslet has blasted a British newspaper for suggesting that her upcoming 'Vanity Fair' photos have been airbrushed to improve her figure. The 'Vanity Fair' photo spread shows a toned Winslet in the November
edition of the magazine. However, British newspaper 'The Sun' suggested the Kate Winslet nude body shot, which shows the actress' figure as she's draped in fur, couldn't be real, saying that "that magic airbrush has been at work again"."Kate is furious at suggestions that her body has been airbrushed," Kate Winslet's rep is insisting that what you see is all Kate."She is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots."Ironically, in the issue, Winslet says that she didn't think she would ever be famous because she was a 'fat' kid: "I never had huge ambitions, never. I was fat. I didn't know any fat famous actresses. I just did not see myself in that world at all, and I'm being very sincere. You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid.""Because you always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else. And I still sort of have that."Her rep admits that minor tweaks were done to the photos but the work was confined to skin shades only: "The only retouching was the usual work on skin tone that happens in every glamour shoot."Check out the photos including the sexy Kate Winslet nude body shot with heels, black stockings and little else:
