NBA Phoenix to face Memphis Tuesday April 8, 2008
The NBA Phoenix Suns with stars such as Amare Stoudemire, Shaquille O'Neal and Steve Nash will face off against the Memphis Grizzlies stars such as Rudy Gay and Mike Miller.
 After coming off a stunning loss on Sunday to the Dallas Mavericks on April 6, 2008, the NBA Phoenix Suns face off against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday April 8, 2008. Despite a win against Minnesota on Sunday with strong performances from Mike Miller with 33 points and Rudy Gay 23 points, the Grizzlies are among the worst team in the league.
The Suns have fallen to 6th place in the Western Conference after losing their latest game against the Mavericks on Sunday. Steve Nash commented after the game that the mental aspect of the game may have played a role as the Mavericks were in trailing significantly going into the fourth quarter and also overall this was a crucial game for them as they faced elimination from the playoffs while the Suns on the other hand were feeling good about everything and everything seemed to be going their way after three quarters of play on Sunday. They have currently won three consecutive Pacific Division Titles but with the latest loss are two games behind the division-leading Los Angeles Lakers. The Suns have beaten the Grizzlies seven consecutive times this season.
Many expect the meltdown in the Suns offense against the Mavericks where they were scoreless for 8 minutes in the fourth quarter is unlikely to reoccur against the Grizzlies. Tuesday should be an exciting game for NBA fans.
