Duchovny Denies Affair
David Duchovny and wife Tea Leoni recently confirmed they are splitting, following his completion of rehab for sex addiction. But now, Duchovny’s tennis coach is alluding to a possible affair with him.“We have a very, very close fri
endship,” Edit Pakay told Britain’s Daily Mail. “He is in great shape. He is a wonderful man. He’s very intelligent, very kind and good man.”When asked if she had a romantic relationship with Duchovny, Pakay reportedly said, “I don’t want to say anything that might hurt David. I am not going to deny it. I don’t know what our relationship means to him… If you want to write that we had an affair then fine. I will not argue against it.”However, Duchovny is denying having an affair with Pakay.“The stories about an alleged affair between David Duchovny and his tennis instructor, Edit Pakay, are completely false,” Duchovny’s lawyer, Larry Stein, told Access Hollywood. “Ms. Pakay denied the rumors to me in person , saying they are just friends, and in addition, said in writing that such stories are ‘lies and deceit.’”The tennis instructor said her relationship with Duchovny is not something she wants others to joke about.“People joke about having affairs with their tennis coach and I’m the tennis coach,” Pakay said. “But, I don’t want to become the butt of jokes. My feelings for him mean much more than that.”
