Jackson Show Janet Jackson's 'Sex Act' Segment Cut From Detroit Show.Jackson made up her previously cancelled show in Detroit but she wasn't allowed to perform all of it.She had to cut a segment from her 'Rock Witchu Tour' after arena officials feared the
y might be fined for violating a Michigan ordinance that bans simulated sex acts.Janet has performed the segment, during which she usually ties down a male fan while she and her dancers mime various sexual acts, in previous concerts. However, Palace officials were worried they could face a possible suspension or loss of its liquor license if there were any complaints. An arena official confirmed the cut, saying, "we explained the law, asked her not to do it, she complied. We did not ask her to cut the song. That was her call."Jackson's manager says the performance was trimmed so the show could still go on, "Janet did not want to disappoint her Detroit-area fans again, so we adhered to Michigan's state ordinance and trimmed the 'Discipline' segment of the show so it would not be canceled."At the end of the show, Jackson explained the omission and told fans, "We hope you enjoyed the show we gave you."
