 Reality star Matt Serra is set to fight against Canadian Georges St. Pierre. Serra currently holds the UFC welterweight belt having won it from St. Pierre in Houston at UFC 69. The latest fight will be for the UFC welterweight division title and Serra is the defending champ.
 Since the match-up at UFC 69, St. Pierre has fought two times and has won decisive and impressive victories over former champion and one of the most dominant welterweights in the UFC Matt Hughes and also all-American wrestling star Josh Koscheck. The polite fighter with the looks that would be suitable in a fashion magazine is schedule to occur in Canada at Montreal's Bell Center and St. Pierre will certainly be the fan favorite.
Since UFC 69, Serra has not fought due to back injuries and other reality star committments. Even though he is the reigning champ, Serra has had a hard time getting the respect of fans and others. At shows, he is often booed when you would expect there to be cheers. In the run-up to the April 19, 2008 fight, St. Pierre is schedule to be featured on numerous fight-related magazine covers while Serra, the Long Island New Yorker, has no such opportunities.
